Be part of the world's first ever live-orchestra karaoke event - happening here in Worthing! 4Below has teamed up with the National Symphony Orchestra to bring you KaraOrche - imagine over three thousand people in a seafront park – singing the classics of karaoke, following the words on giant screens but instead of the usual backing track, there’s a live 32-piece orchestra!

KaraOrche is the world’s first live-orchestra karaoke event. Taking place this Summer in Worthing, it will feature the National Symphony Orchestra and a cast of thousands.

The main aim of Kara-Orche is to re-engage people with live orchestral music, in a fun manner that most people are comfortable with. It will also promote community singing and inclusion, as well as promoting the health benefits of singing (it’s very good for your heart!).

The playlist will feature a mix of popular songs, anthems and some classical music, for example:

* I Will Survive (Gloria Gaynor)
* Angels (Robbie Williams)
* Land of Hope and Glory (Elgar)
* Nessun Dorma (Puccini)

Many of the pieces have been especially commissioned as orchestral versions just for this event.

Jonathan Nulty, Creative Director of 4Below, said “This will help put Worthing back on the map in terms of arts and culture – there’s a wealth of talent here, just waiting to be discovered”

Anne Collis, Director of the NSO said “KaraOrche is a new concept – it takes a mix of Proms in the Park with classic karaoke. There’s something for everyone.”

By singing along on the night, you’ll also be doing your heart a favour – 4Below is helping to promote the “sing for your heart” campaign run by Heart Research UK.
