Ever wondered what Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) got up to before he joined Shrek and Donkey? Now the story can be told. The young Puss grows up in a modest orphanage, where his best friend is a misbehaving egg named Humpty Alexander Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis). As an adult, the ginger tom's stylish line in footwear worn with no pants makes him a hit with the ladies while he sets about protecting the innocent. The scheming Humpty, meanwhile, needs Puss to help pull off his greatest heist - the goose that lays the golden eggs! Streetwise, seductive Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) is also keen for a slice of the action, and she's very much our hero's equal in the swashbuckling department.
