La difference restaurant, which serves french and english dishes, is situated in the heart of worthing off montague precinct. during the day and the evening there is easy access and parking facilities, making it a very convenient place for a quick snack or a meal when shopping or during working hours.
Established in 1979 by chef proprietor, Henri Hourquet, who trained and worked in some of the top restaurants in France and London, his aim was to create an informal eaterie where customers can relax and enjoy the food.
In the evening the restaurant offers a more traditional menu using only quality produce. all dishes are cooked to order, with an emphasis on flavour, as are the various sauces, which are our trademark.
Occasionally we get asked, “why is a French restaurant serving hamburgers”? our reply is that steak haché, a very popular dish in france, is no different other than it is served without a bap. Our hamburgers are homemade using only quality prime meat, which is minced by us and prepared to our own recipe. our burgers are so delicious that everybody wants to know the recipe, including our american customers.
All our desserts are homemade – second helpings are a popular feature.
With so much controversy over food these days, we firmly believe a restaurant should serve fresh food, cooked to order with out the use of a microwave. We are also against serving gm food.
