Worthing Ice Rink opened by Eastenders' Todd Carty

2010 was the second year that Worthing hosted a outdoor ice rink in Styene Gardens and the year that it was officially opened by actor Todd Carty (from Grange Hill, Eastenders and The Bill), before many thousands enjoyed using it over the 4-week period.

The ice rink pulls visitors from as far away as Farnham in Surrey and Newhaven, and almost 25,000 people take to the ice showing just how popular ice-skating is and bringing a welcomed boast for town traders during what is normally a very slow trading period.
