Experienced kite surfer Jake Scrace and extreme surfer pal Lewis Craften make the most of the extreme wind for this awesome death-defying 100ft jump over Worthing pier.
The pair had been planning the jump for three years, but had to wait for the perfect weather conditions, which were presented in November 2009 when strong winds gusting to 40mph on the south coast produced large enough waves to use as a ramp to leap 40ft across Worthing Pier.
Jake, 25, described the build up to the jump as "terrifying" whilst Lewis, 24, described the jump as "epic", the pair have 16 years' experience in the sport and knew the jump was quite hazardous.
They have warned that amateurs should not attempt this jump.
