I've got to say I think Matt Smith pulled it off a treat despite being almost young enough to be my son, I was pleasantly surprised by the lad.

The storyline was fairly good too for an introductory episode, but I hope for better as it settles down with the new writer/actor combo.

I am still thinking this, despite others raving about the series, it seems like the doctor is just bumbling around most of the time and getting 'rescued' by Amy or someone else.

What did everyone make of the Dr Who final, I enjoyed it, it was all very involved and involving, but there's no way I got the full gist.

It left me thoroughly confused, I can see that I'll have to watch that again, perhaps with less drink this time.

I didn't think much of it myself, although I am interested in finding out who the hell Rivers is, but we'll have to wait until next year for that.
